My Approach

All are welcome here. When you meet with me, you will notice me listening attentively and empathically to both what you say and what you don’t say. Allowing you to tell your story and ask for what you need are important values in my practice.

I provide a warm and compassionate atmosphere that encourages honesty and vulnerability. I am an LGBTQ+ welcoming, body positive, sex positive, and inclusive psychologist; my pronouns are she/her. I want to empower you to have the courage to explore your beliefs, make changes, and learn more about yourself.

I utilize a client-centered approach and will choose techniques collaboratively with you to help you work through issues. These techniques include the following:

  • mindfulness and meditation

  • thought stopping techniques

  • motivational interviewing

  • emotion identification and expression

With your consent, I also work collaboratively with other medical and mental health providers to provide the best care for you.
